The most important method of energy production is power generation, with gas power plants holding significant importance due to their electricity output and widespread presence. The oil, petrochemical, and gas sectors follow, and because of the utility units present in all these industries (for water and power supply), they fall under the influence of this sector.
In power plant units, consumable parts range from the smallest components (such as various seals and gaskets) to the largest ones (such as rings, blades, and casings), all of which are subject to wear and corrosion. The primary causes of deterioration include temperature, vibration, and fluids.

Hot section turbine components
These components are located in the path of hot compressor air and the combustion chamber, where a combination of damaging factors—including combustion by-products, vibration, interactions between alloy elements, and high temperatures—create very challenging conditions resulting in significant wear and tear.
At Carno-tech, we have extensive experience in manufacturing and refurbishing such parts. These include vanes and blades, various rings, seals, bolts, lock plates, and more. The primary materials used are superalloys and heat-resistant stainless steels.
Installation kit
The installation kit consists of a set of components extensively used in turbine installation and overhaul. Due to the complexity of manufacturing and the dimensional sensitivity of these parts, only a limited number of manufacturers can produce them. At Carno-tech, we have extensive experience in producing a wide range of these components and proudly maintain a suitable inventory to serve our customers in many cases. All parts are manufactured using original materials and methods recommended by the OEM.
Tile holder (for refractory bricks)
Our experience in manufacturing over 43 complete sets of refractory tile holders for V94.2 turbines, versions 3 and 5, as well as a limited number for V94.3, has made us unrivaled in producing these components. Our team has reviewed and implemented dozens of design modifications to the molds of these parts to deliver the most compatible components in terms of geometric specifications and performance to our customers. We are fully aware of all the features of this part and can supply an unlimited quantity to our clients in the shortest possible time.
Minor parts
Minor parts are precise and sometimes complex components that, due to their wide variety, often lack economic justification for production. At Carno-tech, we have manufactured a broad range of these parts for Siemens, Zaria, GE Frame 5-6-9, Mitsubishi, ASK turbines, and others, and we possess the necessary production tooling.
These parts mainly include special bolts, various washers with complex materials and shapes, different spacers, lock washers, blade locks, seals, pins and plates, blade cooling boxes, air nozzles, and more.
Spare parts and customization
Based on our familiarity with production and engineering processes, we are capable of manufacturing parts beyond the frameworks mentioned above. This segment of our activity is carried out upon customer request. The main characteristics of this approach include low variety, small batch sizes, frequent changes, and sometimes the lack of accurate information or even a good sample part. Using our understanding of part logic, we design and produce these components in the shortest possible time. Mold making, casting, and forging may occasionally be required in this process.
